Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Literacy and Self-Efficacy of Junior High School Students: Basis for an ICT Enhancement Program

The proliferation of science and technology in society allows learners to be more informed about the changes developments education. Moreover, literacy evolved from conventional way reading writing applying accessing information a digital environment. Hence, this paper aims look into extrapolate correlation Information Communications Technology (ICT) self-efficacy Junior High School students one private school district Obando, Bulacan, Philippines. Using descriptive-correlation research design, researcher believes significant between among variables. chosen respondents for study consisted hundred thirty-five (135). findings revealed that had moderate towards ICT. Also, found out described their ICT as moderately agreeing. Furthermore, results correlational analysis using Pearson r was significantly correlated self-efficacy. It is recommended schools include area annual improvement plan under students’ services affairs. Schools should pay attention since majority now at height integrating system further uplift toward integration through an enhancement program.
